The Rolex Blackout Explorer, ref. 14270 is one of the most rare 90s Rolex sport models produced. Called the Blackout Explorer, these early 14270s feature black numerals at 3, 6 and 9 oclock and were made for about one year in 1990. This particular Blackout Explorer was retailed by Tiffany & Co. and bares the retailers stamp on the dial.
